Doug Fuller:

(President) BSBA — Accounting; Central Missouri State University (1981). Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. 1981 - 1985, SLS since inception. Married to a lovely lady for 30 years and blessed with 2 fantastic daughters.
One of our ‘taglines’ at SLS is ‘uncomplicated commercial lending’. We do our best to keep it simple and straightforward. Please let me know if we miss that mark. Also ...we always appreciate hearing when we get the job done right! We are creative, have a ‘can do attitude’ and are anxious to help our customers grow their business.

Graduated from Mississippi State University in 1979 with a BA in Social Work. Moved to the Kansas City area in 1989 and began working part-time as an Administrative Assistant at Security Leasing in 1996. Blessed with a happy marriage and two wonderful children. Enjoys family time and traveling.

Rick Lincoln:

Attended Missouri Western State College. Worked in Military and Government special account sales for 17 years before joining Security Leasing Services in February of 1988. Rick enjoys spending time with his wife, Jo Ellen, his two grown sons, Thad and Brad, and spoiling his grandchildren. When Rick is not working on your financial transactions, he also enjoys spending his time farming and raising cattle.

Angie Mies:

Credit and Documentation Manager at SLS. Angie graduated from Kansas State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a dual major in accounting and finance. She worked for a local bank in Overland Park before joining the SLS team in October, 1999. She is married to husband, Jay, and they have two beautiful sons, Jayden and Jaycek. Her hobbies include watching NASCAR races and K-State sports, walking, reading and spending time with her family.

Joe joined Security Leasing Services in April of 2000 and has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry serving in various capacities with several national funding sources. Joe's strengths are arranging vendor and manufacturing accounts and understanding financial activity of various types of businesses.

Charlie Truitt:
Email Charlie Truitt
Graduated from Colorado College in 1999 and received his MBA from Colorado State University in 2001. He joined SLS in 2010 after 10 years in commercial banking during which time he cultivated strengths in credit underwriting, loan structuring and relationship management. Charlie enthusiastically works everyday with equipment vendors and their customers to help close their equipment transactions. Charlie and his wife, Megan, live in Overland Park, KS and are blessed with 4 healthy children.

Brian Kirlin:

Attended the University of Minnesota — Morris where he earned a BA in Business Management and Economics. Soon thereafter, he began his career in finance with a company called Lyon Financial Services which was later purchased by US Bank. There, he spent 7 years learning the industry in credit and sales capacities before leaving to start his own company with his 2 partners in 2005. This new company, called Capital Partners LLC, enjoyed 5 years of success before the opportunity presented itself to merge companies with a long-time friend in the industry in Doug Fuller of SLS Financial. Brian is married to his lovely wife, Kelly, and together they enjoy nothing more than to spend most of their free time with their 3 children — Elijah, Emma & Izabella.

Jim Stekl:

Attended Southwest Minnesota State University where he earned a BS in Business Management and Marketing. He began his career in finance with a company called Lyon Financial Services which was later purchased by US Bank. He spent 12 years learning the industry in operations and sales capacities before leaving to start his own company with his 2 partners in 2005. This new company, called Capital Partners LLC, enjoyed 5 years of success before the opportunity presented itself to merge with SLS Financial. Jim’s hobbies include any and all sports, boating, and hunting. However, his greatest joy comes from the time he spends with his four children.

George Vandel:

Attended South Dakota State University where he earned a BS in Economics with a Business emphasis. After graduating he immediately began his career in finance with a company called Lyon Financial Services which was later purchased by US Bank. There, he spent 7 years learning the industry in credit and sales capacities before leaving to start his own company with his 2 partners in 2005. This company, called Capital Partners LLC, enjoyed 5 years of success before the opportunity presented itself to merge with SLS Financial. He brings an exceptional knowledge in National Vendor account management and tailored program development. George is married to his patient wife, Stephanie and is blessed with 3 amazing children — Ayden, Nolan, and Makaylah.

Corey Stansbury:

Attended school at South Dakota State University, where he graduated in 1997 with a degree in Psychology. Corey spent the first eight years of his career with the State of South Dakota, working as a Social Worker for Child Protection Services, where he specialized in counseling troubled teenagers and their families. When the opportunity then presented itself, Corey decided to make a career change and joined Capital Partners, LLC in 2007. After three years with Capital Partners, another exciting change brought the merger of Capital Partners and SLS Financial. Corey is very excited for the growth and new opportunities presented under the new SLS umbrella. Corey is married to Sara and together they have three exceptional children named Grace, Ramsey and Sam.

Jay Ruehter:

Manager/ Member - SLS Real Estate Fund I, LLC BS - Wildlife Biology, MSU 2009. Jay and his wife Stephanie moved to Kansas City in 2011 to expand SLS's real estate holdings. Jay is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.
